Helping OthersHelping Others

Below is information on how you can assist the community development programs visited during the Aussies Across Africa project, and on how you can become directly involved with volunteer work.

Donations

A tax-deductible fund raising appeal has been set up to receive donations towards the community projects visited during the Aussies Across Africa project (view organisations...). All donations will directly support the African people with whom these organisations and their Australian volunteers work, including orphaned children in western Kenya and homeless and HIV/AIDS affected children in South Africa.

If you would like to donate to the appeal then your support would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be collected through the Christian Brothers by sending your cheque to:

Volunteering

Volunteers can greatly strengthen the efforts of people facing hardship to build a better future for their children, where food supplies are stable, medical access is secure, and education is readily available.

Volunteers are passionate, adventurous people who want to bring about positive social change, and who often learn a great deal about themselves along the way. So get your hands dirty in the garden of justice, and help sow seeds of peace and equality!
